We were thrilled to have had Oklahoma Gardening, a PBS affiliate and a part of the Oklahoma State Extension, come to the Nan Awaya Heritage Farmstead for two days this week. We talked about landscape management, Choctaw plant names and uses, Indigenous foods, and Choctaw traditional arts. It was a blast interacting with Casey and the other staff. They are knowledge people about the land, and we learned at least as much from them as they did from us.

You can watch the two episodes they filmed with us at: http://www.oklahomagardening.okstate.edu/full-shows/full-show-2016/082016-fs.
